Research 101 - Know your student rights

Coming Soon Neon Light

Starting a research project might be stressful, more so if you don't know what is expected from you and how you should work in your new workplace.

One of the key factors to be successful in your research is to efficiently communicate and have a good relationship with your supervisor. However, all of this might be overwhelming at the beginning as you are bombarded with so many information that you will forget after one day, and wish you didn't when you could really use one of those pieces of information.

UQU APS and UQU VP for Student Rights have worked together to develop a STUDENT/SUPERVISOR AGREEMENT. With this document, both the student and supervisor will set their goals, the project plan/expectations, as well as what they expect from each other. Both parties will be informed of their duties and rights and will sign this agreement.

Follow our social media to know more about it. The agreement form will be shortly updated in both the UQU APS and UQ Union websites.
