UQU APS and its Mission

 

The UQU Association of Postgraduate Students (APS) is a UQU Collective that caters to the needs of around 16,400 postgraduate students at The University of Queensland

​

APS is a not-for-profit, incorporated association established to enrich the lives of all UQ postgraduate students through leadership, advocacy, and community as well as a significant range of academic, social, well being, charitable events and activities.

UQU APS aim on the provision of comprehensive and diverse support and advice to currently enrolled postgraduate students of the University of Queensland, which could directly or indirectly affect their academic, professional and personal goals achievement.

UQU APS aims in the creation of the opportunities for currently enrolled postgraduate students of the University of Queensland for their academic, professional and personal
development and interactions.

UQU APS aims to create academic and non-academic activities, which include events, meetings, discussions and other activities, to promote positive interactions between the postgraduate students from different Schools of the University of Queensland.

UQU APS aims to promote and support the activities of other Clubs and Societies of the University of Queensland, who are targeting to Postgraduate students, through funding, advertising or endorsing.

Our History

The UQU Association of Postgraduate Students (APS) was formed in 2011 to:
-encourage a postgraduate student community through organized social events, professional development, and support;
-promote postgraduate health and wellbeing;
-and to provide a voice to postgraduate students at UQ.

APS is managed by postgraduate students and collaborates with other UQ clubs and societies.
